Level Definition

This step defines the levels of future extracted steel structure. A level is an elevation which helps to assign and sort the steel elements into the steel structure.


  1. Hide / show the input cloud with the bulb. Adjust the transparency using the slider.

    1. You may also Filter the cloud according to its classes: see Auto Classification.

  2. Hide / show the Environment objects. An environment object is an object visible when the workflow has been started but it is not used by the workflow itself.

  3. All levels are displayed in the Levels table:

    1. For each one, you can adjust the elevation or delete it.

      1. Elevation adjustment can be performed by editing the value in the table or clicking into the 3D scene after selected the Pencil.svg .

  4. To add a new level, select Add.svg Add.

    1. Define Points is launched to define the exact altitude.

Notes

  1. By default, a new Level altitude is set to the highest level altitude plus 3 meters (or 10ft if using the imperial units)

  2. Once this workflow step is validated, no level edition, addition or removal is possible.

Tips & Tricks

Define an exact Level altitude: when Define Points is active, use XYZ mode to set an exact value (i.e “0 0 3” for 3 meters).
