Export (Scan to Steel)
This steps exports the selected steel elements.
Show / Hide the levels with the bulb.
Only the steel elements and the levels are displayed in this step.
Choose an Export type among the following ones:
COE: Not available yet
BIM: to save an IFC or IFCZIP file.
Mesh: to save an STL, OBJ, DXF, GLB or FBX file composed of the selected steel elements.
Optionally, choose to Export in WCS coordinates.
CAD: to save an IGES or STEP file composed of the selected steel elements as CAD surfaces.
Optionally, choose to Export as axes and profiles only : to save an IGES or STEP file composed of the neutral axis and the profiles of all elements as CAD curves.
CSV: to save a CSV recording the selected steel elements and their characteristics.
Optionally Check / Uncheck individually the steel elements to export (use the quick select buttons to Export all/Export none pipes).
Notes
The export will use the currently active coordinate system except when Export in WCS is enabled.
